HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For nearly 2 years the male2man site has been dormant. The primary reason for this “hibernation” is because the original creators of the site have been extremely busy with their own academic pursuits.

However, the time is right to revive the site because the question remains, “Since God created us male, what does it mean to be a MAN?”

Moving forward, I (Drew Ham) will be the sole author of the site. While I have written extensively on the topic of masculinity, I do not claim to have a mythical “key to manhood.” Therefore, this site in intended to be a resource for men, specifically (but not solely) for men who believe in the God of the Bible. For those who are unfamiliar with the site, let me explain a few things quickly:

1. ABOUT GOD & THE BIBLE: The Almighty God of the universe created the world for His good and His pleasure. The Bible is His Word to us. It is inerrant and infallible. Therefore, it will be used as the primary source of truth.
2. ABOUT ME: I am a born-again, Bible-believing Christian. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior (see Romans 10:9-13) at a young age and have pursued a relationship with Him since that time. I am in my mid-40s, married to the woman of my dreams, and have four amazing children! The articles I write will be from my perspective, and often about the details of my own life. With that in mind, please be kind and gracious as you read and engage. I am NOT perfect and do not pretend to be.
3. ABOUT THE SITE: This site is primarily for men , and I will write with that perspective in mind. However, women are welcome and encouraged to read and engage. The insight and wisdom of the female perspective is greatly appreciated and should NOT be undervalued! Additionally, the name “male2Man” generated a surprising level of interest from the homosexual community. While I hope homosexuals will read and engage with the written material, this site is not intended for that purpose.

While I hope homosexuals will read and engage with the written material, this site is intended for a “tribe” of people who are interested in biblical manhood. To be clear: this site is a resource for men who are seeking to understand authentic biblical manhood.

I am not going to promise a certain number of posts per week/month. Additionally, I am not a very proficient writer so these articles take a bit of time to produce. Therefore, I will update the male2Man Twitter handle and Facebook page each time a new article is posted.
